And I have one thing to say, as their Dawgs are currently getting their asses handed to them 17-0....

... Dear God, Britney Spears just won THREE VMA awards.  For exactly what, I am not sure.  Really bad publicity?  Really bad mothering skills?  Really bad haircut?  It couldn't possibly be for her (cough) music, could it? 

Applause to Jessica Simpson for seperating herself from the... um, herd.  She appeared on the Opry on Saturday. 

For the love of tomatoes.

My new banner is up.  It's summertime, officially, and that, despite any FDA warnings, means summertime tomatoes... tomato sandwiches, sliced tomatoes,Fried Green Tomatoes, and any other tomato you can think of. I am sad without them in my sandwiches, on my salads, and in my grocery store. SAD.  Because a summer without tomatoes is like a summer without flip flops.
